Black Diamonds is for young people (aged between 7 and
25 years) who live in Brisbane.
Black Diamonds is all about sport, recreation, culture and the
arts.
Everything is free or low cost!
Brisbane City Council and Brisbane's Indigenous community have
worked together to create Black Diamonds.
Why should you get involved?
Council wants young Indigenous people involved in sporting,
recreational and arts activities that develop their individual skills
as well as focusing on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
cultures. We see this as being very important.
Black Diamonds is a fun, healthy way to get active, meet
new friends and learn new things.
All young Indigenous people who live in Brisbane are invited
to get involved in Black Diamonds activities and events,
Black Diamonds Newsletter will keep you up to date on up
and coming programs and events, so if you want to 'have a go' at
an activity or attend an event, you have all the details,

25 years. The activities assist in building self-esteem, developing
