Banyo Rugby League Club Inc
In discussing the future of the Nudgee Waterholes project, it was decided to keep the Banyo Rugby League Club Inc on site. The reason for this is its proud history, its valuable contribution to the local community and the importance of sport for Indigenous people as a pathway to reconciliation.
The Banyo Rugby League Club Inc is proud to have coached many successful professional players including State of Origin and international representatives.
About Banyo Rugby League Club Inc
· Norths Banyo Junior Rugby League Club was formed in 1971.
· In the early 1990s the Football Club became incorporated and dropped the word Norths to become Banyo Rugby League Club Inc.
· The Club hosts various sporting activities for Council's
'Black Diamonds' program.
